The Passing Traveller

I wanna go where I’ll be happy Gardens where rivers flow,
eternally I wanna go,
see Allah’s promises To those believers who walked His path I’m but a stranger in a hostile world And I cannot savour,
this lie no more يَا اللَّهُ يَا رَّحْمٰنُ يَا رَّحِيمُ يَا مَلِكُ يَا قُدُّوسُ يَا سَلَامُ يَا اللَّهُ Guide me to Jannah I wanna go be with Allah’s beloved Sit in his company,
see him smile I wanna go drink from the well of kawthar The water for the Purest Promised to Muḥammad (pbuh) I’m but a traveller on a hot summer’s day Resting under a tree,
then went on my way I wanna go see my mother and father Embrace them in my arms,
whisper I love you so I wanna go see others I have lost Hold them oh so close,
say I missed you so I came in this world,
just passing through And I wanna travel just like المُؤْمِنُ يَا عَزِيزُ يَا جَبَّارُ يَا خَالِقُ يَا بَارِٸُ يَا غَفَّارُ يَا قَهَّارُ يَا اللهُ Guide me to Jannah I wanna go see our father Ādam His blessed brothers,
all of the prophets honored I wanna go see the righteous companions Those who the prophet loved,
the best generation I’m but a stranger in this hostile world And I cannot savour,
this lie no more I wanna go finally be at peace No worries,
no old age Blissful eternity I wanna go see my palace in Jannah Shining silk,
silver,
gold So beautiful forever I’m but a traveller taking rest for a while Soon will come a time,
I’ll have to say goodbye يَا سَمِيْعُ يَا بَصِيْرُ يَا خَبِيْرُ يَا عَظِيْمُ يَا غَفُوْرُ يَا شَكُوْرُ يَا اللَّهُ Guide me to Jannah I wanna go for the ultimate blessing Be with الرَّحْمٰنُ اللَّهُ السَّلَامُ mutlu olacağım yere gitmek istiyorum I wanna go where I’ll be happy Sonsuza dek nehirlerin aktığı bahçeler

Allah’ın vaadini görmek I wanna go,
see Allah’s promises O’nun yolundan yürüyen müminlere To those believers who walked His path Ben düşmanca bir dünyada bir yabancıyım I’m but a stranger in a hostile world Ve tadını çıkaramıyorum,
bu yalan artık yok And I cannot savour,
this lie no more يَا اللَّهُ يَا رَّحْمٰنُ يَا رَّحِيمُ يَا مَلِكُ يَا قُدُّوسُ يَا سَلَامُ يَا اللَّهُ يَا اللَّهُ يَا رَّحْمٰنُ يَا رَّحِيمُ يَا مَلِكُ يَا قُدُّوسُ يَا سَلَامُ يَا اللَّهُ Beni Cennete yönlendir
Guide me to Jannah Allah’ın sevgilisiyle birlikte olmak istiyorum I wanna go be with Allah’s beloved Şirketinde otur,
gülümsediğini gör Sit in his company,
see him smile kevser kuyusundan içmek istiyorum I wanna go drink from the well of kawthar En saf su The water for the Purest Muhammed’e (a.s) vaat edilen Promised to Muḥammad (pbuh) Ben sadece sıcak bir yaz gününde bir yolcuyum I’m but a traveller on a hot summer’s day Bir ağacın altında dinlenip yoluma devam ettim.
Resting under a tree,
then went on my way annemi ve babamı görmek istiyorum I wanna go see my mother and father Onları kollarımda kucakla,
seni çok sevdiğimi fısılda Embrace them in my arms,
whisper I love you so Kaybettiğim diğerlerini görmek istiyorum I wanna go see others I have lost Onları çok yakın tut,
seni çok özlediğimi söyle Hold them oh so close,
say I missed you so Bu dünyaya geldim,
sadece geçiyorum I came in this world,
just passing through Ve tıpkı المُؤْمِنُ gibi seyahat etmek istiyorum And I wanna travel just like المُؤْمِنُ يَا عَزِيزُ يَا جَبَّارُ يَا خَالِقُ يَا بَارِٸُ يَا غَفَّارُ يَا قَهَّارُ يَا اللهُ يَا عَزِيزُ يَا جَبَّارُ يَا خَالِقُ يَا بَارِٸُ يَا غَفَّارُ يَا قَهَّارُ يَا اللهُ Beni Cennete yönlendir
Guide me to Jannah babamız Ādam’ı görmeye gitmek istiyorum I wanna go see our father Ādam Onun mübarek kardeşleri,
bütün peygamberleri şereflendirdi His blessed brothers,
all of the prophets honored Doğru yoldaşları görmeye gitmek istiyorum I wanna go see the righteous companions Peygamberin sevdikleri,
en hayırlı nesil Those who the prophet loved,
the best generation Ben bu düşmanca dünyada bir yabancıyım I’m but a stranger in this hostile world Ve tadını çıkaramıyorum,
bu yalan artık yok And I cannot savour,
this lie no more Sonunda huzur içinde olmak istiyorum I wanna go finally be at peace Endişeye gerek yok,
yaşlılık yok No worries,
no old age mutlu sonsuzluk Blissful eternity Cennetteki sarayımı görmek istiyorum I wanna go see my palace in Jannah Parlayan ipek,
gümüş,
altın Shining silk,
silver,
gold sonsuza kadar çok güzel So beautiful forever Ben sadece bir süre dinlenen bir gezginim I’m but a traveller taking rest for a while Yakında bir zaman gelecek,
elveda demek zorunda kalacağım Soon will come a time,

Guide me to Jannah Nihai kutsamaya gitmek istiyorum I wanna go for the ultimate blessing الرَّحْمٰنُ ile ol Be with الرَّحْمٰنُ اللَّهُ السَّلَامُ اللَّهُ السَّلَامُ
