Arabic حسبي ربي جلَّ الله (Hasbi Rabbi jallallah) My Lord Allah is sufficient for me,
glory be to Allah ما في قلبي غيرُ الله (Ma fi qalbi ghayrullah) There is no one in my heart except Him نورُ محمد صلّى الله (Nooru Muhammad sallallah) And Muhammad’s light peace upon him لا إله إلا الله (La ilaha illallah) There is no god but Allah Urdu گلشن کلمہ پڑھتے ہیں Gardens of flowers recite the Kalima (the declaration of faith) چڑیا کلمہ پڑھتے ہیں The birds recite the Kalima دنیا کی مخلوق سبھی All of the world’s creation ذکر خدا کا کرتے ہیں Engage in dhikr (remembrance) of Allah کہتے سبھی ہیں جن و بشر All the jinn and humans say کہتا شجر ہے کہتا حجر The trees say,
and the stones say کہتا ہے پتہ پتہ All the leaves also say لا إله إلا الله There’s no god but Allah Arabic هي نورٌ يعلوها نور (Hiya noorun ya’louha noor) It’s light upon light تشفِي أفئدةً و صُدور (Tashfi af’idatan wa sudoor) Heals the hearts and souls أعظمُ كلماتٍ و أُجور (A’dhamu kalimatin wa ujoor) The greatest of words and rewards لا إله إلا الله (La ilaha illallah) There is no God but Allah أصدقُ ما نَطقَ الإنسان (Asdaqu ma nataqal insan) It is the truest thing that a person can say و بها سَبّحت الأكوان (Wa biha sabbahatil akwan) The universes praised Allah by saying it هي أثقلُ ما في الميزان (Hiya athqalu ma fil mizan) It is the heaviest deed on the scale لا إله إلا الله (La ilaha illallah) There is no God but Allah ما أجملَها مِن كلمات (Ma ajmalaha min kalimat) What beautiful words نَنطِقُها فتطِيبُ حياة (Nantiquha fa tatibu hayat) When we pronounce it our life improves هي مفتاحٌ للجنّات (Hiya miftahun lil jannat) It’s a door to paradise لا إله إلا الله (La ilaha illallah) There is no god but Allah Turkish Fani olana döndürme bizi (Don’t allow us to become preoccupied with the finite world) Rahmeyle gerçek aşkla (With mercy,
real love…) Merhametinle kalbimizi (and compassion,
our hearts…) Yalnız sen doldur Allah (only you can fill,
Allah) Sonsuz ikram izzetini (Your grace and blessings are endless) Bahşeden Rabbim kullarına (My Lord,
who generously bestows upon his servants) Kutlu yolundan ayırma bizi (Do not let us stray from your sacred path) Rahmetinle al yanına (Guide us to You with Your mercy) Cahilim ömrüm bir mevsim (I’m ignorant,
my life is but one season) Nur ile sar alim Sensin (Wrap yourself in the light,
for you are knowledgeable) Nefsime galip kıl nefesim (Make my breath defeat my ego) La İlahe İllallah (There is no god but Allah)
